Lake George Fishing Report

LAKE GEORGE IS DOWN 2.5 FEET, 65 DEGREES & CLEAR BY JOE DURHAM



Bass fishing is very good and with the recent rains the lake level at Lake Eufaula has risen to 187.89 with surface temperatures ranging from 62-68. To get right to the point, the fishing at Lake Eufaula is FANTASTIC. Over the past two weeks I have been on the lake several times and have been able to catch lots of fish. With the mild temperatures, you can catch fish a variety of ways. For those of you who enjoy cranking and Carolina rigging, There are lots of fish on secondary points and ledges. Most of theses places top out at about 4-6 feet. We have been successful catching fish on these drops with Carolina-Rigged worms and DT 6 and DT 10 crank baits. If you prefer to fish shallow, you can catch lots of fish in the grass. Spinnerbait’s and Texas rigged plastics will provide plenty of bites for you. On a similar note, there is a good flipping bite right now. If you enjoy flipping, most any deep bank that has blow downs or other wood cover provides a super opportunity for a flipping bite.
